About The Position

At Lockheed Martin, our Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) National Team (C2NT) is pioneering the development and integration of cutting-edge technologies to advance the Missile Defense System, safeguarding the United States and its allies. The IT Systems Asc. Manager leads technical planning, system integration, verification & validation, and cost‑risk analyses for complex total‑system and IT solutions. You will design, develop, and analyze computer systems and software to meet user and system specifications, translating customer requirements into hardware and software configurations while balancing schedule, cost, and performance constraints. In addition to technical duties, you supervise recruitment, training, performance assessment, and career development for a team of non‑exempt and entry‑level exempt engineers, ensuring seamless coordination across the organization and delivering high‑impact results to senior leadership. As leader of the C2BMC team, Lockheed Martin directs a partnership of highly responsive industry leaders developing and fielding the backbone of America’s missile defense. Together, this national team supports the design, development, test, integration and fielding of hardware and software elements that enable the Missile Defense System (MDS) to function effectively and continually. You will also have the opportunity to interface with our key customers in the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) . You are a self‑starting, results‑focused leader with systems‑engineering experience and an active Secret clearance. You combine strong business acumen with deep technical expertise, thriving in fast‑paced, dynamic environments. Your collaborative style and full‑spectrum leadership (shape, model, build, energize, deliver) enable you to mentor and develop talent, while your high integrity and accountability drive personal and team excellence. You excel at navigating ambiguity, prioritizing tasks, and meeting tight deadlines.

Requirements

  • An Active Final Secret Clearance
  • Proficient in networking, Windows/Linux administration
  • Proven business acumen to manage multiple assignments and projects, balancing technical requirements with business needs and affordability
  • Demonstrated collaboration and teaming skills at all organizational levels
  • Full‑Spectrum Leadership knowledge (Shape, Model, Build, Energize, Deliver)
  • C2BMC experience
