About The Position

The IT Technical Analyst II role provides technical support for office and manufacturing environments, handling immediate support requests and implementing long-term projects with limited supervision. Responsibilities include managing service requests, troubleshooting complex issues, and participating in projects such as software rollouts and plant technology upgrades. The position involves configuring, deploying, and maintaining enterprise endpoint devices, supporting mobile programs, and recommending technology solutions to improve efficiency. Strong customer service, technical expertise across systems like Active Directory, SCCM, O365, and Windows 10, and the ability to work independently are essential. The role also requires collaboration with IT teams and plant management, adherence to company policies, and occasional travel, with shared on-call responsibilities for after-hours emergencies. -100% on-site position. -Home based will be in Gaylord, MN. -10% travel, twice a month MAX to LeSueur, MN plant/farm location. 20 miles from Gaylord, MN location. -Shift will be 9hrs (1hr of lunch, 8hrs of work). Shift can be 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm. -This position supports plants and farms. There is a BIO security process that they have to follow. It requires shower in and out, but Farm Manager need to approve the visit. -There is one other technician that they will work with.

Requirements

  • Technical Proficiency Across Core IT Systems: Strong knowledge of PC hardware, Windows operating systems, and system management tools. Familiarity with Active Directory, SCCM, MDT (or similar), O365, and Windows 10. Understanding of networks, servers, and databases.
  • Exceptional Customer Service and Communication Skills: Ability to calmly and effectively manage customer problems and requests. Strong communication and documentation experience, as this role represents IT at all locations.
  • Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting Ability: Capability to resolve complex technical issues using troubleshooting tools, experience, and creativity. Ability to work independently with limited supervision while prioritizing and managing multiple tasks.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work across the organization to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to lead small to medium initiatives and projects.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ownership in delivering service.
  • Two-year technical degree, related technical certifications, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in an IT support environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically (about 10%) and participate in shared on-call support for after-hours emergencies.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing setting (preferred).
  • Familiarity with mobile device programs and Mobile Device Management (MDM).
  • Experience with plant-related technology (e.g., label printers, handheld devices, lift computers/scanners).
  • Understanding of ITIL process framework.
