About The Position

Position provides a high level of administrative support, to include development, testing, optimization, integration and implementation of various clinical and administrative applications across the health care system. Works to optimize processes and participates in designing, building, testing, training, implementing, evaluating, maintaining and enhancing organizational information systems. • Complies with organization’s Service Improvement, Safety, Compliance, and Performance Improvement initiatives • Promotes Teamwork and meets Time Management standards • Maintains strong working knowledge of organization ancillary clinical systems to include but not limited to Meditech and complementing applications • Works directly, effectively, collaboratively with department leaders and staff to develop, maintain and support technological solutions to meet needs hospital • Manages program specifications, project workflows and system installations or upgrades to ensure high system functionality, end-user satisfaction and meeting of budget constraints • Maintains awareness of external factors which can affect or enhance ancillary and clinical systems • Develops training plans and implements training to department staff • Support users in developing downtime procedures • Serves as liaison between vendors and staff • Serves as liaison between department and ITS department • Acts as primary systems administrator for all assigned applications

Requirements

  • Associate degree required
  • coursework in computer science desirable

Nice To Haves

  • baccalaureate degree preferred
  • health care related field preferred
