About The Position

Peninsula Post-Acute is seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents, staff, and visitors, primarily focusing on laundry operations and general housekeeping duties within our post-acute care facility. This role is essential to ensure a comfortable and hygienic environment for our residents and uphold infection control standards. Tues & Wed AM shift 6:00am - 2:00pm Rate - $23 hour

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
1 year of experience in a similar role preferred.
Ability to problem-solve and seek assistance when needed.
No certifications required.

Responsibilities

Ensure a consistent supply of clean linen for the proper care and comfort of all residents.
Maintain all linen in good repair, promptly removing any items with holes and/or stains from service.
Perform day-to-day janitorial functions as assigned, which may include cleaning resident rooms and recreational areas, sanitizing and polishing bathrooms, cleaning windows and mirrors, sweeping, mopping, dusting, buffing and disinfecting floors, and removing trash.
Deodorize and disinfect according to established policies.
