Janitorial Floater - Jackson Area
About The Position
Road Runr is looking for motivated, high energy team members that will perform the general cleaning requirements for our customers. Team members are expected to provide a consistent and high quality service by maintaining a clean, secure and a safe work environment. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES You will be responsible for covering rest area positions including filling in for absent employees, employee training, project work and other duties as assigned. Assignments and work schedule will vary daily based on company needs. Filling in for absent employees at various locations in the Jackson and Ann Arbor Areas Delivering supplies, equipment, etc Train/retrain employees as needed General janitorial cleaning tasks including; Emptying trash containers, taking trash outside to dumpster areas, Dusting, spot cleaning, vacuuming, mopping floors, cleaning windows, polishing surfaces, Cleaning and stocking restrooms; cleaning toilets, sinks, floors, plunging toilets, etc., Sanitizing surfaces such as telephones and drinking fountains Completing customer work orders, correcting complaints, etc. Clean and organize janitorial closets Other duties as assigned. COMPENSATION $ 14.00 - $16.00/Hour travel allowance
Requirements
- 1 - 3 years experience in the janitorial industry required
- Must have own reliable transportation to get to and from various job sites
- Must have flexible availability and willing to work assigned hours
- Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written format with other employees and the customer
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to work holidays
- Must be able to stand/walk for entire length of your shift
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing from 15 to 25 pounds
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head
Nice To Haves
- Previous supervisory experience helpful especially with employee training capabilities
- Power washing experience helpful
Responsibilities
