Java Middleware Engineer
About The Position
Branding Brand is seeking an experienced, U.S.-based Java Middleware Engineer to support one of our clients. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, paid hourly, and expected to work approximately 40 hours per week through the end of 2026. These details are subject to change. Please note that Branding Brand is not working C2C for this role. Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience working with JBoss / WildFly
- Experience supporting Java-based middleware environments
- Familiarity with REST frameworks and enterprise Java application servers
Nice To Haves
- Troubleshoot and resolve dependency conflicts (preferred experience)
Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain JBoss 7 / WildFly containers, including managing WildFly dependencies
- Manage and support servlets within the WildFly application server environment
- Assist with migrating or converting REST server frameworks as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve dependency conflicts (preferred experience)
- Participate in ongoing security training and awareness programs
