About the job: The Interactive HTML Team is responsible for bringing interactive graphical displays from JMP Statistical Discovery desktop software to the web as content within our JMP Live web application. We give our users the ability to share their creations and discoveries from our Mac and Windows versions of JMP with a high level of interactivity using JavaScript and HTML5 technologies.

Requirements

  • You've got programing experience in one or more of the following languages and a desire to learn and use the others: C++, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • You’re interested in the future of analytics and embrace technology.
  • You’re an undergraduate college student enrolled in an accredited program in Computer Science or Computer/Software Engineering, not graduating prior to December 2026.
  • You are able to be on campus at our Cary, NC headquarters 2-3 days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Extend the number of interactive graphics that JMP users can publish to the web
  • Enhance existing web-based interactive graphs
  • Learn and apply software engineering techniques to ensure quality
  • Create examples that demonstrate the utility of the new functionality
