About The Position

General carpenter work at Citizens Bank Park to support ballpark operations and events that includes installing staging, hanging signs/banners, assembling furniture, seat maintenance, field pad installation/repair, and other general maintenance and repair. Pay: 55.82 per hour The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

Responsibilities

• Perform the carpentry duties necessary to maintain in good repair building woodwork and equipment such as bins, counters, benches, partitions, and doors
• Plan and lay out work from blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal instructions, using a variety of carpenter's hand tools, portable power tools, and standard measuring instruments
• Make standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work
• Select materials necessary for the work
• Paint walls, woodwork, and fixtures
• Identify surface peculiarities and determine the types of paint required for different applications
• Prepare surface for painting by removing old finish or by placing putty or filler in nail holes
• Mix colors, oils, white lead and other paint ingredients to obtain proper color or consistency
• Use spray gun and/or brush to apply paint
