About The Position

Experienced- level Industrial Electrical Journeyman with ability to perform electrical commercial or industrial installations with minimal supervision in a high quality and safe manner. Industrial Electricians install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and parts, such as control panels.Essential Accountabilities: This list is not all inclusive.This position has been designated as safety sensitive. It is a position that includes tasks and duties that could affect the safety and health of the employee or others. The position requires the employee’s full and unimpaired skills and judgment to safely execute all job responsibilities. Plans and performs jobs installing and maintaining various electrical equipment such as control panels, switchboards, junction boxes, and switches. Connects and disconnects electric powered machines. Repairs motors and generators. Replaces fuses and sets circuit breakers on high- and low-tension circuits. Diagnoses electrical problems and must be able to work from a wiring diagram. Works independently and on a team. Provides direction to less experienced electricians. Assists in evaluating and mentoring apprentices. Maintains 80% production rate when provided the proper tools, material and equipment. Completes 8 hours of continuing education each year.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of electrical components as well as electrical safety codes and regulations.
  • Professionally, technically, and mechanically proficient.
  • Arizona Electrical Journeyman license or equivalent experience with management approval.
  • Graduate of apprenticeship program and/or completion of 24 hours of continuing education each year.
  • Five years experience performing quality electrical installations in commercial or industrial construction.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of the NEC.
  • OSHA 10 Hour Awareness Training (If you do not have OSHA10, Ludvik will provide the training at Ludvik's expense.)
