About The Position

The Electrician ensures the safe, reliable, and code-compliant operation of Lakewood Health System’s electrical systems to support uninterrupted patient care and facility operations. The Electrician supports the safe and efficient operation of Lakewood Health System facilities by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and related electronic controls. This role ensures electrical infrastructure functions reliably to minimize downtime, maintain regulatory compliance, and support patient care and staff operations. The Electrician works collaboratively with other departments, contractors, and supervisors while maintaining accurate documentation and adherence to safety standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of formal technical training in electrical systems required.
  • State electrician licensure or certification required, including a Minnesota Journeyman Electrician License.
  • Minnesota Special Boilers License required or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
  • At least two years of journeyman-level experience installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical principles, troubleshooting techniques, and applicable safety codes.
