About The Position

Summary/Objective Provide electrical support in the Riverence facilities working as a team member to make sure that food products are processed according to quality specifications and customer needs. Essential Functions Ability to perform functions in Riverence facilities that ultimately produce products for Customers: Installs electrical wiring systems to support Riverence Facilities equipment. Work with outside electrical contractors as assigned. Troubleshoots diagnoses and corrects electrical problems and failures. Install and maintain electrical equipment, both alternating and direct current. Perform mechanical work on electrical equipment. Work to meet current electrical codes and company policies and practices. Select proper equipment as required. Ability to read electrical and related blueprints. Perform mathematics to determine proper components and installation requirements. Direct work and instruct other electricians, helpers and apprentices. Operate production and packaging equipment to check work as required. Comply with all safety regulations, attend safety meetings and follow all plant and safety rules Follow all good manufacturing practices as set up by the company policy. Ability to work on various Riverence Facilities machines and equipment as required. Communicate and Work as a Team Member Participate in some discussion about confidential/sensitive matters. Communicate with employees and others through written, oral and face-to-face interactions. Assist other team members in completion of work. Communicate with fellow employees to complete tasks and adhere to safety standards. Ability to work flexible work schedules with varying hours as required. Miscellaneous Duties as assigned.

Requirements

Journeyman Electrician License
The ability to speak, read, understand and follow directions with or without reasonable accommodations is required.
Driver’s license and good driving record required with reliable transportation to and from the work site.
