About The Position
This Junior Developer Intern position works with the IT team at CalPortland. The role provides hands-on experience supporting and improving system integrations, with exposure to real-world projects and legacy systems. Compensation$20.50-$27.00/hr DOE
Requirements
- Basic understanding of software development concepts and system integrations
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to write clear technical documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Attend intern day in Las Vegas, NV
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with programming languages, APIs, or integration tools is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with technical writing and documentation for legacy integrations
- Participate in ongoing integration projects and support development efforts
- Help troubleshoot issues that arise, including triage and resolution support
- Work on improving and maintaining existing integrations
- Assist with troubleshooting and reverse engineering legacy integrations
- Learn about CalPortland, its systems, and the building materials industry
