About The Position

We are in search of highly motivated and capable individuals with experience in clean energy & energy efficiency implementation. In this role you will be challenged to help navigate and implement a major energy provider's green energy initiative. Responsible for the stewardship of utility ratepayer dollars and the overall improvement of our community. The position will include both desk responsibilities reviewing and organizing energy efficiency incentive applications, as well as field visits to confirm proper implementation. The position will also entail conducting virtual and on-site training sessions amongst internal peers and contractor network, as well as identifying energy saving opportunities for various Commercial and Industrial facilities. Requirements

  • 0-5 years of work experience in HVAC design, energy engineering, or similar consulting engineering work.
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication (written and oral) in English.
  • Understanding of one or multiple segments of building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, architectural, structural) a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Ability to interface with customers and contractors.
  • Ability to host and prepare training materials and presentations.

  • Must have a vehicle to be able to commute from New Brunswick, NJ to Company HQ in Haddonfield, NJ on occasion.
  • Must establish or be a New Jersey resident.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with energy rates or calculations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy or Architectural Engineering. Other degrees or education qualifications may be considered with applicable work experience.
  • Prior design-build and/or performance contracting experience is a plus.
