About The Position

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Junior Application Administrator to work for our company. Summary: Client Agency is Defense Logistics Agency Serves as the technical support role for one or more applications. Will work closely with server administrators and database administrators, but maintain a level of separation, to facilitate segregation of duties. Responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of all software products utilized by the application The installation/upgrade of software versions, installation of software patches, support for data center migrations, identifying application specific firewall/network requirements, setup/administration of interfaces & APIs, technical support for break/fix incidents, and support of application requirements being driven by organizational transformation initiatives. Responsibilities will cover both pre-production& production environments and directly support the application’s code release process. Research resolution of cyber security vulnerabilities discovered because of routine scanning. Requirements

Must possess IT-I security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC).(Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or related field
Three (3) years of experience in application database administration.
Oral presentation experience and excellent oral and written communication skills.
