About The Position

The Application Developer - Junior serves as the lead application administrator, which includes the responsibilities of proper configuration and support administrative systems for the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) Academic Network Labor Contract to administer, maintain, secure, and accredit the DLIFLC Academic Network which provides the IT environment for 100% of the DLIFLC teaching and instructing for all students, staff, faculty, and guests in a learning environment at the unclassified level.

Requirements

• BA/BS from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5+ years experience, or substitute with AA/AS with 7+ years experience.
• IAT Level II (CySA+, Security+, CND, or SSCP) Certification, and CE/OS Certification.
• 2 years of experience in Application Development/Sustainment.
• Required Skills include .NET, JAVA, SQL, MySQL, VDX, IIS, HTML5, Linux, Tomcat, Apache, SharePoint (Developer/Designer), Power Apps, Power Automate, WordPress.
• Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assessment of customer needs and recommendations for improved configuration and implementation of improved applications.
• Planning, installation, maintenance during or after work hours, troubleshooting, and managing all Application Developer servers and applications.
