Junior Cloud & Automation Analyst
About The Position
We are seeking a Junior Cloud & Automation Analyst to join our IT Infrastructure team and support the bank’s cloud platforms, automation initiatives, and data integration processes . This role is ideal for a recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field who has strong programming and analytical skills and is interested in building a career in cloud computing, infrastructure automation, and data integration . The selected candidate will work closely with the Cloud and Infrastructure team , assisting with cloud operations, scripting, automation projects, and supporting the integration of data systems used by our analytics platforms. This position provides an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, automation tools, and enterprise IT infrastructure in a financial services environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in: Computer Science Information Technology Software Engineering Information Systems or related technical field
- Basic programming knowledge in Python, Java, or similar language
- Understanding of object-oriented programming and data structures
- Basic knowledge of SQL databases
- Familiarity with Linux or operating system fundamentals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in collaborative technical teams
Nice To Haves
- Exposure to cloud computing (AWS preferred)
- Knowledge of web technologies (JavaScript, Node.js, or full-stack frameworks)
- Understanding of Agile / SCRUM environments
- Experience with Git or version control systems
- Exposure to data analytics or Power BI
- Interest in automation and infrastructure engineering
- Strong technical curiosity and willingness to learn
- Ability to analyze processes and propose improvements
- Good communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus)
- Organized and detail-oriented work style
Responsibilities
- Cloud Support Assist the IT team in managing and supporting AWS cloud environments .
- Support deployment and maintenance of cloud resources such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and RDS .
- Help monitor cloud environments using tools such as CloudWatch and internal monitoring systems.
- Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and system availability monitoring .
- Automation & Scripting Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python or PowerShell .
- Assist in automating operational processes to reduce manual workloads.
- Support integration between internal systems, cloud services, and analytics platforms.
- Data Integration Support Support data extraction, transformation, and integration processes feeding Power BI and analytics platforms .
- Work with SQL databases and structured data sources .
- Assist with improving data workflows and automation pipelines.
- Infrastructure & Operations Assist with Linux and Windows server administration tasks .
- Support configuration of internal systems and cloud resources.
- Participate in troubleshooting infrastructure and application issues.
- Documentation & Process Improvement Maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations and procedures.
- Assist in improving operational workflows through automation and better tooling.
- Support internal IT initiatives related to technology optimization and operational efficiency .
