The Junior Design Engineer –Supports High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) operations by designing and documenting support fixtures, gauges, and manufacturing aids used throughout the casting process. This role focuses on marking stands, quench stands, biscuit stands, handling fixtures, inspection gauges, and cell layout updates to improve safety, efficiency, quality, and ergonomics. Convert concepts and sketches into detailed CAD models and production-ready drawings, supports manufacturing and quality teams, and assists with prototyping and testing. Designs must meet HPDC process requirements, plant standards, and quality and safety regulations.
