What We Need: We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Junior Financial Analyst to support the Multi-Platform Group finance team. This person will directly report to the Director of Finance. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, build strong analytical skills, and gain exposure to financial reporting and business insights in a fast paced environment. The Junior Financial Analyst will work closely with senior analysts, managers, and directors assisting with weekly and monthly deliverables while developing proficiency in financial systems, data analysis, and presentation of insights. This is an in-person role in Midtown Manhattan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • Some proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, basic data analysis)
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in finance, operations, revenue management, or related field
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Curious and eager to learn
  • Respect for others and a strong belief that others should do this in return
  • Business insight and ability to apply general knowledge of business

Responsibilities

  • Maintain weekly and monthly financial reporting packages including relevant analysis and takeaways
  • Contribute to analyses that support business decision making including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking KPIs
  • Help perform data analysis deep dives to identify trends, drivers, and anomalies under the guidance of senior team members
  • Interface with business, finance & sales leads, accounting partners, and IT to ensure accurate data and information gathering
  • Assist with data reconciliation between systems to ensure consistency and reliability of financial information
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations summarizing financial results and key takeaways
