About The Position

Strategas is seeking a highly motivated Jr Sales Trader to join our New York office. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in financial markets who thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment and is committed to delivering exceptional service to institutional clients. As part of our structured trading team, you will support existing and prospective institutional equity clients by leveraging Strategas’ award‑winning macro‑economic research and resources while developing deep market expertise alongside seasoned sales traders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in sales and trading.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to perform effectively in a high‑pressure, team‑based environment.
• High motivation, drive, and competitive mindset with strong teamwork orientation.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment.
• Adaptability to changing technologies, market dynamics, and client needs.
• Active SIE, Series 7, Series 63, and Series 55 licenses.

Responsibilities

• Support institutional equity clients using Strategas’ macro‑economic research and insights.
• Execute purchases and sales of investment products accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
• Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with institutional equity trading desks.
• Develop in‑depth market and trading knowledge by working directly with experienced sales traders.
