About The Position

Reporting to the Plant Sanitation Manager, you will support sanitation activities to ensure safe, clean, and compliant production areas and equipment across the facility. A Taste of Your Responsibilities Clean and sanitize equipment following established procedures. Use approved chemicals to clean machinery including hopper, extruder, and related components. Sweep, mop, and clean assigned production lines. Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices. Comply with Safety and Human Resources protocols, policies, and procedures. Attend work as scheduled and maintain punctuality. Maintain honesty throughout hiring and employment. Complete other duties as assigned. Complete and pass Lock Out Tag Out training within the first 90 days. Maintain strong attention to detail. Communicate effectively in written and verbal formats. Identify potential food safety risks and report issues to the lead or supervisor.

Requirements

  • Lift and carry negligible weight occasionally and up to 50 pounds; frequently exert up to 25 pounds to move items vertically or horizontally.
  • Push and pull negligible force occasionally and up to 25 pounds frequently.
  • Walk and stand frequently, including on slick and wet floors, and stand for long periods.
  • Speak clearly to convey detailed instructions accurately and quickly.
  • Hear normal speaking levels with or without correction and distinguish detailed information in verbal communication.
  • Reach with hands and arms in all directions.
  • Use fingers for tasks involving pinching, picking, or fine manipulation, including forceful exertion.
  • Grasp objects using fingers and palm during cleaning activities.
  • Maintain close visual focus for tasks requiring sustained attention and balance.
  • Work in confined and wet areas as required.
  • Use required personal protective equipment including steel‑toe boots, hair net, eye protection, and ear protection.

Nice To Haves

  • Machine Operator experience preferred
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
