Junior Software Developer - Full-Stack
About The Position
At Integrated Health 21, we provide industry leading and customer-centric wellness program management services using our myHealthWorksPortal. This web-based portal manages biometric screening events, wellness incentive programs, and health coaching programs for our clients and their employees. We are looking for a full-stack Junior Software Developer who is eager to learn and help our team improve and maintain the myHealthWorks Portal. This position is open to recent graduates who are passionate about software development and excited to begin their career in a collaborative fast paced environment. This position will work in an agile environment with our technology team designing and implementing enhancements to our portal and supporting our production environment. This team member will gain experience working on the full stack of the myHealthWorks Portal, writing and testing code for both the user interface and API engine components of the application, as well as its cloud infrastructure. They will also help resolve production issues by assisting with root-cause analysis, implementing bug fixes, and helping resolve issue in our database. This team member will have the opportunity to participate in various parts of the full software development lifecycle and will be encouraged to contribute to its continuous improvement. This includes contributing to automation strategies, enhanced monitoring features, and architecture and infrastructure improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles and Algorithmic Development/Analysis
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Proficiency in SQL
- Ability to clearly document and explain code contributions
- Ability to work in an agile environment where priorities may change suddenly
