About The Position

DuPont Community Credit Union (DCCU) is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Junior Systems Administrator role to join a high performing IT department. What You’ll have the Opportunity to do: Maintain the Credit Union’s Desktop environment and assist in the support of the internal network infrastructure. Provide technical assistance to end users and their devices (PCs, phones/tablets, printers, and other peripherals), network device monitoring and troubleshooting, maintenance and patching of servers. Evaluate, test and deploy new software packages purchased by the Credit Union in preparation for installation of the software on the network and/or a workstation. Troubleshoot hardware and software problems on staff’s computers. Configure, script, and deploy software and windows updates with the management suite application. Installs new software, upgrades or replaces hardware. Work with Help Desk as escalation point and with other Infrastructure staff to provide end user support. Maintain Instant Issue printers (to include ribbon and transfer film management). Participate in an on-call rotation as well as some night and weekend work will be required.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience and minimum of 2 years of IT related experience.
  • Strong oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience and knowledge with Microsoft operating systems and software products
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
  • Ability to work with confidential files and/or materials.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and make decisions.
  • CompTIA certification is highly desired.

Nice To Haves

  • Special consideration will be given to candidates who also possess the following skill sets: Active Directory, MS server administration, SCCM and Intune administration as well as a solid grasp of networking fundamentals.
