About The Position

The Junior Systems Engineer/Analyst will support Missile Defense Agency (MDA) initiatives by performing technical analysis, modeling, simulation, and algorithm evaluation. This role contributes to the assessment and improvement of missile defense systems, sensor fusion methodologies, and command-and-control capabilities in a collaborative, team-focused environment.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field
• 0-5 years of relevant experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD clearance
• Experience with computer programming and/or scripting
• Data analysis experience
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Ability to work effectively in a team-focused environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Perform algorithm testing, data generation, modeling, simulation, and analysis in support of MDA initiatives
• Evaluate radar and electro-optical sensor data fusion methodologies
• Support multi-sensor tracking and target discrimination algorithm assessment
• Analyze system-level command and control algorithms and missile defense battle management techniques
• Provide technical support for independent assessments of C2BMC software builds
• Present technical findings and analysis to diverse stakeholders
