About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience or vocational training in semi-truck/diesel mechanics is preferred.
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems and components.
• Ability to independently perform routine maintenance tasks and basic repairs on semi-trucks and diesel engines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed within designated time frames.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety protocols.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience or vocational training in semi-truck/diesel mechanics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues under the supervision of experienced technicians.
• Assist in the repair and replacement of worn-out or damaged parts, such as brakes, belts, and hoses.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems and ensure accurate repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided, including parts used and labor hours.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Continuously develop technical knowledge and skills through training and professional development opportunities.
