About The Position
We are Christian — a community of students, parents, teachers, and administrators with a shared vision of creating a biblically-grounded foundation for students to stand on throughout their lives impacting the world for the glory of God. Veritas Christian Academy educates students in a Christ—centered atmosphere by discipling students toward academic, artistic, and athletic excellence. We partner with mission-minded families to integrate Christian faith and academic learning for their children from preschool through 12th grade. Requirements
- Background Check
- Adhere to the VCA employee handbook.
- Recognize the need for good public relations and customer service, representing the school in a favorable and professional manner to school families and the general public.
- Effective communication skills to express oneself clearly and positively.
Responsibilities
- Providing an environment that is safe, stimulating, and well structured.
- Engaging with students, learning their interests and providing appropriate guidance.
- Fostering a positive relationship with parents and school staff.
- Establishing expectations consistent with wider school policy regarding care of people and property.
- Working in support of and at the direction of the Summer Camp Coordinator to help ensure the efficient day to day operation of the camp.
