About The Position

We are seeking a Kennel Worker to join our team at Wright Veterinary Medical Center. As a Kennel Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of our animal guests. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for the animals, as well as providing excellent customer service to their owners. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our guests are comfortable and happy during their stay with us.

Requirements

• Experience working with animals in a professional setting
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, weekends and holidays required

Nice To Haves

• Certification in animal care or related field
• Experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal shelter
• Experience working with exotics a plus

Responsibilities

• Feeding, watering, and exercising animals according to schedules and feeding instructions
• Cleaning and sanitizing animal quarters, equipment, and facilities
• Assisting with animal handling and restraint during medical procedures
• Providing excellent customer service to pet owners, including answering questions and providing information about our services
• Maintaining accurate records of animal care and treatment
