About The Position

Then you might be our new Key Account Manager for Household Care in North America. Join us as our new Key Account Manager, Household Care, North America You will be part of the sales team of Household Care working with clients across North America. You will be the primary interface between Novonesis and the current/prospective customers in your area. Your primary customer focus will be North America, however you will interact closely with Novonesis colleagues (commercial, marketing and technical) globally. You will work with our customers to develop the private label and brand segment in household care & professional cleaning with a special focus on increasing biotech penetration in the portfolio. You will drive the development of multi-layer sales relationships within the assigned business and understand the decision power distribution, as well as leverage the executive suite. The orchestration of the relationship between the customer and Novonesis will be a key focus and through this turning business and industry development into sales opportunities. Travel should be expected at ~50% In this role you’ll make an impact by: Turning business, industry development, and customer needs into sales opportunities and proactively identifying and driving new opportunities in untapped markets Inspiring your customers with new technologies and concepts to develop new business areas Managing complex commercial projects from idea generation to final stage of implementation, while ensuring our product offerings meet customer, market and competitive demand Establishing and driving accounts in coordination with internal stakeholders (e.g. Marketing and Supply Operations with respect to order handling and accurate demand plans) Build and Maintain Key Relationships with customers: Regular travel to engage with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to foster strong relationships and ensure alignment with business goals Planning & executing price and contract negotiations Developing an opportunity pipeline and driving Proof-of-Concept execution both commercially & technically - together with your technical colleagues

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in business administration, sales & marketing, or a technical field
  • +5-10 years of relevant job experience in Sales, and/or Technical Sales, preferably with experience from a multi-national CPG, Household Care Industry, or Chemical Industry
  • Knowledge about the detergent and industrial cleaning industry, dynamics of the market, and applications, will be a plus
  • Understanding of, and experience, working in an industrial environment is highly preferred
  • Have the ability to communicate and translate complex customer needs into mutually beneficial solutions & the ability to learn and understand complex technical challenges and communicate those challenges to a wide variety of stakeholders with different backgrounds
  • Have a strong drive, positive mindset, high ability to learn, goal-oriented, well organized, a can-do-attitude and teamwork skills working with colleagues globally
  • Have a commercial and growth-oriented mindset, with a passion for tasks related to the sale and promotion of technical products
  • Have a strong desired to collaborate with complex teams, navigating both an internal network of colleagues and external network of partners and customers

Responsibilities
