About The Position

Family-owned FlynnO'Hara Uniforms , founded in 1972, is a Philadelphia-based supplier and retailer of high-quality school uniforms, gym wear, and medical apparel. We pride ourselves on offering a supportive, friendly work environment, flexible scheduling, and competitive pay. Our Miami, FL retail store is currently seeking a Part-Time Key Holder . The Key Holder plays a critical role in supporting store leadership by overseeing sales, daily operations, asset protection, and basic HR functions to ensure an exceptional customer experience and strong store performance.

Requirements

  • Prior retail experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Open availability with flexibility to meet business needs (no Sundays or late nights required)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to remain calm, adaptable, and effective in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Proficiency with Windows-based software, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the sales floor and stockroom for most of the workday
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to delegate and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, walking, and lifting up to 30 lbs. on a frequent basis

Responsibilities

  • Oversee store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager
  • Support and supervise associates in sales, customer service, inventory control, and cash reconciliation
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by ensuring associates actively greet and assist customers; address customer questions or concerns promptly and professionally
  • Monitor inventory levels and sales trends to support timely replenishment and maximize product availability
  • Encourage the use of product knowledge to drive sales, productivity, and service excellence
  • Maintain an organized, visually appealing sales floor through strong visual merchandising and housekeeping standards
  • Train associates on visual merchandising to ensure consistent store presentation
  • Prepare for and oversee inventory counts, merchandise receiving, and discrepancy reporting
  • Receive and process merchandise, including opening cartons and entering or accessing records via computer systems
  • Review and process customer orders; sort and stock merchandise on racks, shelves, or bins
  • Ensure consistent adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned; machine operators may have additional responsibilities
