About The Position

Join Our Team at Service Jewelry and Repair! Service Jewelry and Repair is on the lookout for a full-time driven, organized, and sales-oriented individual to enhance our team at our Hendersonville location. Job Description Summary Supports the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager by completing opening and closing procedures in the store in their absence. The keyholder assists customers in the store with repairs and by selling product. They will also perform tasks as assigned by the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager including inventory counts, cleaning, merchandise display, etc. Excellent customer service skills, sales skills and organization are necessary to be successful in this position. SJR is a premier repair center specializing in jewelry and watch repair, as well as custom design. We also operate two retail jewelry stores in the Nashville area, providing a neighborhood jeweler experience with a passion for our customers. Since our start in 2002, we have striven to set ourselves apart in the industry by providing the best customer service and expert jewelry and watch repair to our clients. SJR National Repair Center currently operates in a 38,000 square foot facility located just south of Nashville in Brentwood, TN. With over 40 skilled bench jewelers and watch makers, we service nearly 4,000 jewelers nationwide. We are growing fast and looking for people to join our team with a passion for excellence. Requirements

  • Retail experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sales focus with a customer service mindset.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Basic math skills for transaction processing.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional sales service to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Identify customer needs and provide detailed information on product features.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Keep merchandise organized and in-stock, maintaining a presentable store.
  • Proactively engage with customers in-store to offer assistance.
  • Stay informed about the products we offer and discuss available options with customers.
  • Accurately and efficiently process point-of-sale (POS) purchases.
  • Handle merchandise returns professionally, adhering to store policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure outstanding customer service and a positive shopping experience.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
  • Follow inventory control procedures to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Assist with special events as needed.
