We are currently seeking for experienced Kitchen and Bath Designers at all of our locations: Coventry, RI, Wareham, MA, and West Haven, CT.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or 2 years college preferred.
  • 2-5 years in a Kitchen and Bath Design position, or very closely related field preferred.
  • Ability to sell products and services effectively to clients
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Telephone customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced computer skills.
  • Experience using 2020 Technologies design software.
  • Experience in BisTrack order entry systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to discuss their kitchen design needs and preferences
  • Use basic math skills to accurately measure and calculate dimensions for kitchen layouts
  • Create detailed kitchen designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Collaborate with clients to select materials, finishes, and fixtures for their kitchen
  • Provide product recommendations and assist with the selection of appliances, cabinets, countertops, and other kitchen components
  • Prepare and present design proposals to clients, including cost estimates and timelines
  • Coordinate with contractors and other professionals to ensure smooth project execution
  • Oversee the installation process and address any issues or concerns that arise
  • Maintain organized records of client projects, including design plans, contracts, and invoices
  • Work with the inside and outside sales staff to generate new sales leads via telephone, electronic and in-person communication.
  • Coordinate and schedule on and off-site meetings with both new and existing customers, serving as a dependable point of contact throughout the experience.
  • Also responsible for managing material orders with suppliers, including submission, review, and confirmation of all orders within the operating system.
  • Must stay current with new product offerings.
