About The Position

The Kitchen & Front Desk Coordinator helps create a warm, well-run workplace by blending front-desk hospitality with hands-on support for the company’s daily lunch program and kitchen operations. This role serves as a friendly, reliable point of contact for employees and guests. A central focus of th is position is supporting the company’s food and hospitality experience. The Kitchen & Front Desk Coordinator manages kitchen inventories and supply ordering, contributes to monthly menu planning, and prepares health y in-house lunches several times a week. They also oversee the daily lunch service from setup through cleanup, ensuring meals are served smoothly and leftovers are handled properly. The ideal candidate is organized, service-oriented, and enthusiastic about creating a warm, well-nourished workplace experience.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of hospitality or culinary experience
  • Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques, sanitation, and storage
  • Basic skills with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Friendly and professional
  • Flexible and able to quickly adapt to new circumstances as they arise
  • Willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Manage the front desk to include answering phone calls and greeting visitors
  • Point of contact for administrative vendors, for example, FedEx/UPS, our magazine and newspaper subscriptions, and Amazon
  • Work with building maintenance to schedule and coordinate cleaning and appearance of the office including maintenance needs
  • Maintain office and kitchen supplies by conducting weekly inventories, anticipating upcoming needs, and placing appropriate orders
  • Assist in the development of monthly lunch menus
  • Assist in the creative planning and execution of special events
  • Coordinate, order, and follow up with caterers and restaurants to ensure proper delivery
  • Prepare lunches one to two times per week utilizing crockpots and healthy ingredients
  • Hospitality for all daily lunches to include set-up, clean-up and distribution or storage of leftovers
  • Plan, supply, and execute snacks and/or meals for special meetings and events
  • Manage and track costs for office and kitchen supplies, daily lunches, and special events
