About The Position

COURTYARD LOMA LINDA IS NOW IN SEARCH OF A KITCHEN SUPERVISOR FOR THE COURTYARD BISTRO WHO WILL BRING PRECISION, PRIDE, AND CONSISTENCY TO EVERY MEAL. YOUR COMMITMENT TO QUALITY CONTRIBUTES DIRECTLY TO THE GUEST EXPERIENCE AND TO OUR COLLECTIVE MISSION TO SOAR TO SUCCESS. The Kitchen Supervisor will over see the Bistro operation on a daily basis. This position will also provide brand recipes, elevate presentation standards, and oversee kitchen and FOH food safety guidelines. This role contributes to Sagemont Hotels’ mission by ensuring every meal served meets guest expectations for quality and consistency.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous culinary supervisory experience required, Courtyard Bistro experience helpful.
  • Knowledge of food safety, preparation techniques, and kitchen operations.
  • Fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to heat and noise.
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Must adhere to safety procedures and wear required PPE.
  • Strong time management and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing/cooking menu items according to recipes and portion standards.
  • Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served at proper temperatures.
  • Assist in menu prep, ingredient storage, and inventory rotation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen at all times.
  • Follow all food safety, HACCP, and health department regulations.
  • Will supervise servers, bartenders and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
  • Assist with ordering, receiving and storing deliveries properly.
  • Schedule Bistro Team according to operational needs.
