About The Position

The Kitter is responsible for preparing, organizing, and staging kits of stainless-steel parts, components, and materials required to support fabrication, assembly, and production operations. This role supports production by ensuring materials are accurate, complete, clearly identified, and available when needed to minimize downtime and improve workflow. Requirements

Understanding of material flow and manufacturing support processes
Ability to read and follow job travelers, work instructions, and visual management systems
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced production environment
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
Dependable and consistent work habits
High school diploma or GED required
Strong organizational and communication skills
Basic understanding of manufacturing safety practices

Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred

Responsibilities

Deliver raw materials, components, and supplies to production lines according to production schedules
Stage materials at designated workstations to support uninterrupted production flow
Monitor material usage and notify inventory or supervision of shortages or replenishment needs
Remove completed parts, empty containers, and scrap from production areas as required
Maintain accurate material flow by following job travelers, kanban signals, or work instructions
Ensure materials are properly labeled, handled, and stored in accordance with company standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S requirements
Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve material flow
Support production operators as needed
