About The Position

KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security. KBR is in search of a Knowledge Management Specialist, skilled in leading the development, governance, and continuous improvement of enterprise Knowledge Management (KM) capabilities within the newly established Program Support Office (PSO). This role establishes KM strategy, maintains enterprise repositories, standardizes program management artifacts, and drives adoption of tools, templates, and best practices across KBR/NSS programs. The Knowledge Manager role is a seasoned leader who will develop a tool to enhance financial management reporting and capabilities, in support of operational requirements. You will collaborate with Program Managers and Business Units to ensure program information is accurate, up-to-date, accessible, secure, and aligned with requirements.

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of experience in Knowledge Management, Configuration Management, PMO/PSO, or governance roles
  • Experience supporting IC/DoD programs or working in classified environments
  • Expertise with SharePoint and Excel, document management systems, metadata structures, and taxonomy design. Skilled with Power BI
  • Strong understanding of program management, reporting, and governance frameworks
  • Ability to develop KM strategy and standardize enterprise documentation
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Must be eligible for a TS clearance

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the enterprise Knowledge Management (KM) strategy to support PSO maturity.
  • Lead governance processes for document lifecycle management, configuration control, and retention.
  • Manage classified and unclassified PSO repositories, ensuring proper access, security, and accuracy.
  • Oversee standardization of templates, SOPs, workflows, and controlled documentation.
  • Establish and maintain an enterprise lessons learned framework, including facilitation of reviews.
  • Lead creation of PSO training materials, onboarding packages, and knowledge resources.
  • Ensure compliance with contract-specific documentary requirements.
  • Support preparation and quality of executive-level reporting packages and dashboards.
