Lab Campus Intern
About The Position
The Campus Intern assists with specific campus duties under the guidance of the Campus Manager and Co-Campus Manager. Additionally, the Campus Intern shall oversee Teaching Assistants and be the first point of contact for them. Location: University of Chicago Lab Schools (5835 South Kimbark Ave, Chicago, IL 60637) Summer session classes run Monday through Friday and are tentatively scheduled as follows: Dates: June 29 - July 31st (with the exception of July 3rd) Time: 7:30am - 3:00pm. Professional Development: We require 2 days of in-person professional development for all teachers and staff, please tentatively hold the following dates: June 25-26th, 2026. Additional training and staff meetings may be required and will be communicated during onboarding.
Requirements
- Must be High Jump Alumni
- Must be 18 years of age
Responsibilities
- Assisting the staff with general office duties including
- Attendance follow up with TAs
- ISBE breakfast and lunch count
- Arrival and dismissal coordination and support
- Communication with families of absent students
- Occasionally covering for an absent TA.
- Additional duties as Campus Manager sees fit
