This position is responsible for grading the finished product for all lines and communicating out of grade situations to Team Leader. Perform dispositions of out of grade product.

Requirements

  • Sanitation qualification is . If you are not qualified, you will be trained.
  • Ability to accurately use the following equipment, and/or tools, including but not limited to: blender, weighing apparatus, pipettes , grinder, fryers, microwave, length grader, thermometer, dicromat , Minolta, Agtron , silver nitrate, and NIR .
  • Must be able to use a computer for data entry, report generation and research.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Read, understand, and obey all plant rules and practice safety as outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Practice proper body mechanics and safe lifting techniques.
  • Be knowledgeable of the potential hazards and safety procedures associated with the task being performed.
  • Actively practice and abide by all Company work, safety, and personal hygiene rules and regulations as outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Must be able to work independently and as a team player, be organized, and plan
  • Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing .
  • Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English.

Responsibilities

  • Follow s all plant safety policies and procedures
  • A ctively involved in safety, participate s in safety programs, engaged in safety activities, perform s risk assessments, and demonstrate s ownership as well as leadership in personal safety and the safety of other team members
  • Train s back-ups and new lab techs
  • Preforms d aily filing and review of Q.A. data
  • Perform s any special projects assigned
  • Always maintains a neat and clean work area and exhibit good personal hygiene
  • Perform s all other duties assigned/requested by Q.A. Manager and/or Supervisor
  • Follow s good housekeeping practices and GMP's
  • Wear s required PPE
  • Actively participate s in AMD activities
  • P er form s CCP checks for line one and two
  • Perform s quality grading checks on assigned line, typically 2 checks per hour outlined in training manual
  • Rotate s through all lab tech positions
