Requirements

High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Currently pursuing a degree in Engeneering Technology, HVAC or a related field
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional setting
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

A Lab Technician Intern , under general supervision, assists mechanical engineers in the planning and testing of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
Sets up and tests complete prototype units and subassemblies under operational conditions
Devises, fabricates, and assembles new or modified mechanical components or assemblies
Record test procedures and results using numerical and graphical data
Helps prepare proposals, cost estimates and work load
Assist in establishing completion dates.
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes and efficiency.
Take ownership of individual tasks and meet project deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new tools and systems.
Successful interns will have the potential opportunity of joining Lennox Full-Time upon graduation.
