About The Position

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for a 2nd – 3rd year Associate in the Labor & Employment Practice of our San Diego office. Qualified candidates will have strong interpersonal, writing and analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and the desire and initiative to "take ownership" over work and career. Litigation experience is important, and wage and hour substantive background is a plus. Practice includes employment class and individual litigation, unfair competition, and representing employers with respect to employment discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, leaves of absence, employee accommodations, personnel policies, wage and hour compliance, and employment agreements, along with other labor and employment issues. Interest in traditional labor and experience in practicing before the National Labor Relations Board is also desired but not required. The candidate must have strong academic credentials and be a member of the California State Bar.
