About The Position

Under general supervision and following established policies, procedures and professional guidelines, the Laboratory Assistant is responsible for the receipt, delivery and charting of specimens and reports. Assists with various clerical tasks, such as receptionist duties and date processing. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 months of on-the-job training and orientation
