Balazs Nanoanalysis operates analytical labs around the world serving both internal and external clients. We support clients in a wide array of industries including semiconductor, biotechnology, aerospace/defense industry, solar, energy storage, automotive and many others. Our highly-skilled chemists assist other scientists and engineers from companies in these fields to support a wide array of activities such as quality assurance, contamination studies, R&D and failure analysis. Air Liquide is hiring a Laboratory Technician I in our Austin, TX team. Our Laboratory Technicians are responsible for running samples on a daily basis using ICP-MS, classical wet lab analyses, GC-MS, and particle counters. The work is performed in an exciting, fast-paced, and dynamic environment on a safety-oriented team passionate about providing quality data to our customers in a timely manner. In addition to sample analysis duties, this individual will be responsible for performing tasks such as: sample login and tracking, material and kit handling, proper disposal of hazardous waste, reviewing data, and reporting results to the customer.

Requirements

HS Diploma and 5 years of Lab Experience OR Associate Degree in Chemistry or Similar and 3 years of Experience OR Bachelor Degree in Chemistry or Similar and 0 years of Experience
Able to adapt to teamwork environment
Good computer skills
Work safely at all times and ensure a safety culture
Holiday and weekend coverage
Flexible to work OT as needed during staffing shortages
Flexible to work night shifts
