The laboratory of Prasenjit Dey, PhD, in the Department of Immunology, is currently seeking to hire a Laboratory Technician to participate in ongoing research projects in pancreatic and lung cancer. The lab uses a mouse model to understand the role of the immune and nervous system in driving pancreas and lung cancer. The ideal candidate will also have experience in basic mouse handling and molecular biology skills. In addition to general research duties, it is expected that the candidate will help with administrative support and daily lab operations, including reagent and consumable inventory, ordering, and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. The candidate will also maintain detailed records of laboratory procedures and assist in training other lab personnel on various research techniques. The starting annual compensation for this position is $40,413 and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
