Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for LC Wellness Desk operations (not including Kathy’s and Banquets F&B Operations) including the following: Management and supervision of LC Wellness Desk Operations and Staff including: Responsible for training and development of Front Desk Staff Maintain inventory of coffee supplies, locker room essentials, and office back stock, monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment, and place orders with approved vendors and suppliers Managing schedules and Wellness Desk team member performance Distribute tasks to wellness desk staff Maintain a clean area (coffee station, fruit, towels, front desk) Hold regular huddles with the team to discuss issues or updates of the area Conduct regular walk through of the facilities and report any issues to manager Assist wellness desk staff during peak season Assists with daily inventory process/counts and reports discrepancies to Director of Merchandise in partnership with Lake Club Manager Assist in month end inventory process/counts in partnership with Lake Club Manager Oversight of fitness center Maintain cleanliness of fitness area in partnership with Fitness Manager Safety Responsibilities and Requirements: Actively demonstrates, encourages, trains and models safety rules and guidelines in accordance with company, OSHA, EPA, DNR and other state and federal law requirements. Demonstrates and documents safety training and orientation for all employees. Investigates loss producing incidents and reviews prevention recommendations with all employees. Takes personal responsibility for safety every day. Qualifications/Requirements/Experience/Education: Experience in working with gym equipment preferred 1 years of supervisory experience preferred. CPR/AED and First Aid certified. Professional appearance and attitude. Of good moral conduct to be a role model for children, families and staff in accordance with company standards. Enthusiastic and energetic personality that works well in a team environment and self-starter. Excellent Computer skills required. Ability to enforce policies and standards of the department with both small and large groups of members and guests. Must possess a sound physical condition and be able to lift and pull equipment of 50lbs. or more. Ability to work outdoors in any kind of weather. Must be able to swim and comfortable around water. Strong communication skills both oral and written. Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Reliable transportation is required. Schedule: Full Availability required with flexibility in and out of busy season Subject to change Must have ability to cover front desk shifts for all Lake Club shifts if necessary. Holiday and weekend work required during the summer months.
