Summary Sets up and operates laminator machine to create bulk bins by performing the following duties: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Sets-up laminator accurately and efficiently in accordance with proper setup techniques. Ensures folds are in correct area, liners are being glued correctly and adds bottom sheet to cover gap caused when bottom flaps are folded up. Monitors corrugated sheet quality, including, but not limited to, loose liner, warp, and correct size. Checks glue roller for proper glue application. Maximizes the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed while minimizing waste of sheets and glue. Trains and assists Stacker with job duties on the machine. Trains on other machines in order to provide back-up support when needed. Completes necessary reports in a neat, accurate and timely manner which may include but are not limited to: Production, Safety and Quality Date, Machine Operational Status and Maintenance Work Orders. Maintains equipment proactively, turns in maintenance work orders for repairs to Supervisor in a timely manner and follows up that repairs have been made. Adheres to daily production schedule, reports any unusual scheduling issues to Supervisor, makes recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality, delivery and customer service goals.
