About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to ultrasonically bond two rolls of fabric together for the cutting equipment to manufacture wipes for the cleanroom or unlaundered finished goods.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); ; no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Meets regular and reliable work-site attendance requirements in order to perform the job and meet productivity standards.
  • Ability to read and understand drawings, travelers and control plans in IFS for production orders.
  • Ability to know and understand how to operate and trouble shoot Laminator equipment.
  • Rebuild stacks on ultrasonic horns, perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Set up and changeover of Laminator per the CPPS document.
  • Understanding and following proper safety procedures when using the Laminator and hoist equipment.
  • Perform quality inspection/measurements for each shop order.
  • Ordering raw materials needed for orders.
  • Issues materials to shop orders in computer system.
  • Gathering and loading of the necessary raw materials needed to complete the shop order.
  • Making folders, printing labels, issuing and closing shop orders and placing product in the correct area.
  • Follows 5S standards in the work area.
  • Communication with previous/oncoming shift of production, quality or safety issues/information.
  • Informs Lead or Supervisor of issues, suggestions and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensures machine operates within the parameters defined by product standard operating procedure.
  • Keeps work area clean and clear of safety hazards.
  • Participates in periodic training programs regarding safety, product specifications; quality; and operation.
  • Participates and works within ISO 9001-2015 quality standards guidelines in accordance with Contec’s quality goals.
