The Land Acquisition Intern will support cross-functional teams including Acquisitions, Construction, Purchasing, Architecture, and Property Management by assisting with land acquisition and development processes. Responsibilities include supporting land underwriting and market research, preparing feasibility analyses, and acquisition reports. This internship provides hands-on exposure to the real estate development lifecycle in a fast-growing organization while applying academic knowledge in a professional setting. Internship Learning Objectives/Task Goals: Learn property value analysis and underwriting for raw land and vacant development lots for acquisitions. Prepare time-to-market underwriting proformas and conduct general research in selected markets to identify land opportunities. Understand the design and development stages. Understand aspects of communication involving agencies and municipalities Sharpen Excel skills.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in/graduated from a university degree program preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all aspects of job responsibilities.
  • Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical, and professional manner.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite, including MS Excel.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and effectively prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude; dependable, require minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Results-driven achiever with exemplary planning and organizational skills, along with a high degree of detail orientation.
  • Demonstrates robust assessment, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Availability to commit to 40 hours per week from June 8th to August 14th, Summer of 2026.
