About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Practice Builder to join and expand our Land Development practice in Tucson, Arizona. As a Practice Builder at Kimley-Horn you will serve clients by winning and delivering exceptional work, managing projects profitably, and mentoring the next generation. This position offers extensive autonomy to lead, direct, and scale the practice with a forward-thinking approach.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience managing land development projects
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
• Extensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and/or land owners
• Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D
• Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work
• Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
• Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
• Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably

• Lead a Land Development team while building and managing relationships with key clients
