About The Position
NV5 is a provider of professional and technical engineering and consulting solutions to public and private sector clients in the infrastructure, energy, construction, program management and environmental markets. NV5 is an ENR Top 500 firm; we offer a full range of professional services in offices throughout the U.S. We are looking for a student intern to support the Land Development/Site Civil Engineering group through design preparation.
Requirements
- BS in Civil or Agricultural Engineering; Must be currently enrolled
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with appropriate supervision as well as work effectively as a team member
Responsibilities
- Prepare designs and reports, perform calculations
- Interact and communicate with the project team, agencies, and possibly clients
- Perform site visit fieldwork work as needed
- Attend meetings
- Provide assistance with specific project-related tasks
