LAND LEASE/REAL ESTATE REPRESENTATIVE
About The Position
Put your leasing or real estate experience to work in a different and exciting industry! Help our company grow one land lease at a time in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana. This position, Land Lease Representative, handles all functions and activities necessary to maintain and grow the company’s real estate portfolio of leased and owned properties. Responsibilities include finding sites for new leases/billboard sign locations and maintaining existing leases while working with state and local agencies for zoning purposes. Travel is required occasionally. Salary based on experience + competitive bonus package, Health Insurance, 401(k), PTO.
Requirements
- High school diploma (or equivalent) is required plus one to three years of outdoor advertising or real estate experience; including high-level administrative duties and account management/reporting.
- Intermediate knowledge and skill of Microsoft Windows environment.
- Intermediate knowledge and skill of Internet browsers.
- Intermediate knowledge and skill of Outlook
- Intermediate knowledge and skill of Google Earth
- Must possess great attention to detail, strong organization skills, and strong written/verbal communication and negotiation skills.
- Customer Service skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects at once
- Ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure
- Ability to manage heavy inbox workload efficiently
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to Travel, with overnight stays, throughout Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana.
Nice To Haves
- A bachelor’s degree in real estate, Business, Business Administration, or Marketing is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identify new lease sites and negotiate leases
- Negotiate renewal leases for existing sites
- Read and interpret ordinances and state regulations
- Apply for permits at the local and state level
- Attend zoning board or city council meetings as needed
- Assist with acquisitions as needed
