Job Description: Eschenfelder Landscaping is seeking an experienced, client-centric individual to join our team as a Client Representative and Design Assistant in our Landscape Maintenance Division. Landscape Maintenance Client Representatives act as the main point of contact between Eschenfelder Landscaping and their assigned maintenance clients. They are expected to develop and maintain close relationships with high-end residential maintenance clients, represent Eschenfelder Landscaping in a professional manner, and uphold the outstanding reputation the company holds within the industry. This role will also assist our Lead Designer with enhancement and full installation designs.

Effective oral and written communication skills (Bi-Lingual is a plus)
Familiarity with operating basic computer programs (Outlook, Excel, Word)
2-3 Years of similar job responsibilities in landscape industry or applicable college education
Knowledge of tree & shrub species adapted and native to Utah
Ability to diagnose pest, nutrient, or other landscaping issues impacting trees, shrubs, and lawns
Good attitude, punctual, teachable, and self-motivated

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business, Horticulture, Agricultural Science, Landscape Maintenance, Agronomy, Floriculture, Forestry, Plant and Soil Science, Environmental Design, Turf Grass or Landscape Architecture
5+ years of field experience and possess strong horticultural and irrigation background preferred
Bilingual (Spanish)

Responsibilities

Account Management:
Develop and maintain close relationships with high-end residential maintenance clients
Act as the primary liaison between the client and Eschenfelder Landscaping while overseeing the satisfactory completion of contracted landscape maintenance services
Prepare annual maintenance bids for existing and new clients (pricing for enhancements, seasonal color installs, holiday lighting etc.)
Consult, design/estimate, and manage both full-service landscape maintenance packages as well as landscape installations for existing clientele
Coordinate with various internal divisions as well as sub-contractors to provide total landscape care and one point of contact for clientele
Design award worthy annual color displays for clientele as necessary
Diagnose and develop solutions for problems that come up in landscapes including but not limited to: turf disease/inadequate moisture, plant pruning timing and needs, improper drainage, plant disease/inadequate moisture
Safely follow industry standards and regulations
Design:
Prepare detailed proposals for small projects and designs. Incorporated elements may include but are not limited to irrigation, planting, low-voltage lighting, demolition, drainage, tree care, and hardscape.
Designs seasonal color for containers (Spring, Summer, Fall), Holiday greens, Holiday lighting.
Be knowledgeable and informed of landscape services, best practice landscape installation methods, plant identification and planting design
Be able to complete accurate estimate takeoffs, create proposals in estimation software
Create job packs with detailed project information to ensure successful field installation to budgeted hours, materials, and client expectations
