About The Position

Landscaping staff is responsible for landscaping design and upkeep of the park and all public areas on property. Assigned tasks generally include all facets of groundskeeping to include landscaping and park cleanliness. This role will follow safety and service procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment for employees and guests.

Requirements

Excellent communication, time-management, planning, and organizational skills
Competent mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Ability to work with prolonged periods of walking, kneeling, squatting, bending at waist, and standing
Ability to safely lift, push, and pull objects up to 50lbs with or without assistance
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions including direct sunlight, varying temperatures, and rain
Willingness to use chemicals with proper training and equipment
Minimum Age: 18 Years

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of custodial equipment, chemicals, and landscaping equipment
Minimum 1 Year Landscaping experience preferred

Responsibilities

Prune and trim trees, shrubs, or hedges
Plant, trim, and pick flowers; maintain clean flower beds
Care for established lawn or landscaping by mulching, aerating, weeding, trimming and edging areas such as flower beds, walls, and walkways
Pressure wash building and fixtures as assigned with proper safety equipment
Custodial responsibilities which may include general trash and debris pick-up or disposal or assigned cleaning tasks
Safe usage of all provided equipment and chemicals
Clean and maintain equipment within skillset; clean and stock supply room(s)
Ensure supply rooms are tidy and locked the end of shift
Effectively utilize irrigation methods to adjust the amount of water consumption and prevent waste
Other duties may be assigned as needed
